Jeremy Okai Davis is a Portland, Oregon based portraiture artist who works mainly in acrylics on canvas. His illustrations have appeared in American Songwriter Magazine. You can see a recently completed mural of his in downtown Portland on SW 10th Avenue, with another upcoming at the University of Oregon’s Journalism School.
Why Jeremy uses M. Graham acrylics:
“The viscosity of the paint is very important to me. I need a good flow. I need it to be able to break down well with water. The M. Graham paints that I’ve been using currently have been perfect for that. I can add water and it still maintains the brightness. I need the paint that I use to be very intense to get the feeling and emotion that I try to get with the paintings.”
